Change is the one constant in our lives. And it is usually one of the hardest things we have to navigate. How we work with our minds will inform how we work with change.
Meditation practice can deeply support our internal abilities to work with change. Practice allows us the opportunity to ask deep questions, like: Is it possible to be still at the center of our experience of change? Can we “stay with” our experience even in the midst of chaos?
Join Sarah Lipton, leadership mentor with The Presence Point, and long-time Shambhala practitioner and teacher for a half-day meditation program through which we will learn how to embody our experience, ask key questions like those above, and gather tools to work with our minds in the midst of change.
This meditation program is intended to share skills helping in navigating these difficult times, from a space of simplicity. These community gatherings will touch into the energy of the seasons to enable us to be with each other in the practice space, interspersed with teachings and discussion. We plan to offer this program a couple times per season, led by a member of our teaching team.
